A shocking video has emerged showing a police officer knocked to the ground after being pelted with masonry during a fourth night of serious rioting a violence in east Belfast.The clip - which was uploaded to Facebook - was purportedly filmed in the Bryson Street area on Wednesday night, as officers came under sustained attack amid rioting between loyalists and nationalists.
One youth is seen hurling the object at a small group of riot police - knocking one to the ground - spurring on cheers from the gathered mob.
Two officers were injured last night during the sporadic trouble which erupted in various areas in the east of the city. One officer suffered a head injury, while a second sustained an injury to his arm.
