Major components as they ended up (swapped a bunch of stuff mid-build -movie magic)
1)Arduino uno
2)Pololu Jrk 21v3 USB Motor Controller with Feedback
3)Concentric LACT2P-12V-20 Linear Actuator with Feedback
4)Luxeon Rebel LED Breakout- RGB Triple Play (not the same as what appears in the middle of the video, I had to swap for something that had a lens available)
5)Air pump is a cheapo portable fishtank pump with a gearmotor swap
6)395 nM UV Ultra Violet 21 LED Blacklight Flashlight, by LEDwholesalers
7)radioshack project enclosure
8)1 1/2" OD clear polycarbonate tubing.

other materials: abs plumbing, wood, bolts, mounting hardware for the linear actuator, springs, panel mount connectors for the enclosure, power switch, a bunch of support circuitry.

The main power brick is 12v 4A but the arduino runs off of usb power.


Building it took about 100 hours + a bit of time on videography, editing, effects, learning things. The test UI you see is a C# windows form I wrote integrated with terraria using tconfig and a custom mod to launch it (not memory watching). I'll post some more specifics in the future.
