About me:
The SCVF fosters philanthropic activity that
benefits a six-county area in the St. Croix Valley
of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Together with the
vital work of our 10 affiliate community
foundations—volunteer-run organizations
located in the communities they serve—the
SCVF strengthens the region’s quality of
life, including our culture and kinship, economic
and social well-being, and history and future.
SCVF was founded in 1995 by forward-thinking
individuals who saw the river as a bridge and not
a boundary and recognized that our communities
have common interests and issues. They
established the SCVF to provide a reliable means
for people who care about this beautiful region to
help Valley non-profits and communities by keeping
philanthropic contributions local. |
