It was a time before pride parades, the rainbow flag, the White Night riots and HIV and AIDS devastated a community. We've been digging through the ABC7 archives and found an amazing glimpse of gay life in San Francisco and how it was covered in the news many decades ago. The series was called Bay Gays.
