Snowmass and Aspen Mountain are open for the season on Thanksgiving Day. With nearly 600 acres of terrain open between both mountains and top to bottom skiing on Aspen Mountain, this is the best Opening Day conditions we've had in 10 years. This weekend packs a big punch with World Cup races on Sat. and Sun. at the base of Lift 1A and John Popper Project featuring DJ Logic and Fireworks at the base of Aspen Mtn. at 7 p.m. on Sat. night.
