Brittany Parker always dreamt of being a surfer but there was one problem – she lived in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 6,000ft above the sea. Determined not to let that hold her back she searched out a surprising surf scene in the Rocky Mountains and has become one of its most fervent ambassadors.
Her story is the final in a four-part documentary series Journey From The Source – presented by Finlandia Vodka and 1% For The Planet, created by Mikey DeTemple and Huck magazine, and hosted by National Geographic photographer and adventurer Cory Richards – which aims to uncover stories of people that have an extraordinary relationship with water.
