This is a 1x1x1.5cm copper metal crystal I grew using electrolysis of copper sulfate with two copper electrodes. The solution concentration was 40g/L, and the current was always kept at less than 10mA so that this entire crystal grew over six weeks. The finished crystal was put in mineral oil to protect its pink shine.
