This happened at the Costco off of Pelandale, in Modesto California.
I set the automatic stop on the pump when getting gas on Wednesday, February 4th. When I heard the *click* that my tank was full, I pulled the pump out and saw that the machine was still rolling numbers and taking my money as if it was still dispersing fuel.
I told the managers and showed one this video. He didn't have an answer until today and said they were having problems with the Premium Fuel (I pumped Regular) and that it "does that when the tank reservoirs are low."
I feel this is stealing, even though it's some change coming out of my account, but it adds up when you have hundreds of people that may not check throughout the day.
PEOPLE: when you're done pumping, check to see if it's still taking your money when it shouldn't, no matter what gas station. Bring it up to the manager and see what they can do. This isn't ok.
