Hi! I'm Kalina and this is the beginning of a social experiment/video project called Big Talk.
I wanted to be able to go out, meet new people, and instead of just make small talk, actually have deeper, more meaningful conversations with them.
So, these past two months, I've been going out of my way to approach - rather than walk by strangers I see on the street. Then, I skip the small talk, and cut right to the big talk by asking deeper questions.
I've truly been inspired by a number of other projects that have guided me in starting this one: Humans of New York, StoryCorps, Ted Talks, and 50 People One Question, just to name a few.
This video is more of an experiment and the first of many Big Talk topics yet to come. I would love to hear your thoughts/ideas/comments/etc... Please don't hesitate to reach out.
