Travelling to Zakopane region (Poland) was one of the best ideas I had this year. The immense mountains (the Tatry) offers you Hikers' AND Skiers' Paradise. Especially the beautiful Kasprowy peak. It is a must see.
Not a pro skier/snowboarder? Neither were we. Yet we found great, mellow slopes. Białka Tatrzańska have great ski runs for beginners with 14 kms of blue courses.
Also, lovely towns and villages all around the region if you are not into snow sports. Do not miss out Krupówki shopping street. Delicious food everywhere.
This cool place can offer you a perfect winter holiday. Even at early spring like we had. Poland, Tatras. What are you waiting for? You should be on booking by now.
