me playing the tetris theme song korobeiniki on every accordion i ownand i mean every accordion-----------------------------quotmodernquot accordion-this was my first playable accordion it was the one i used when i first started taking lessons and it was the first one i used for performing for a large audience it039s pretty worn out but i still play it now ampamp thenquotlombardiquot accordion-the first accordion i ever held ampamp played in my life my grandmother bought it at a garage sale ampamp kept it in the attic for 50 years before giving it to me all the straps are rotted but i039m determined to restore this personal piece of historyquotfirst actquot accordion-yes it is indeed a children039s toy but this is the closest thing i039m ever going to get to a bayan accordion for under 100 so far tetris is the only thing i can play on itquotcordovoxquot accordion-i actually bought this from my accordion teacher over 30 years old the cordovox accordion i think was the first electronic accordion made by plugging it into a speaker the size of a small refrigerator through a cord thicker than a garden hose you can get electronic sounds to come out while also playing it acoustically sadly for me the cord is frayed and most of the electronic sounds don039t come out anymorequotliraquot accordion-i got this from my mother039s friend who didn039t play it anymore honestly out of all the acoustic accordions i have i039d say this one has the richest and most beautiful sound too bad both of the shoulder straps are shot hence the last 12 seconds of the videoquotcastiglionequot accordion-my dad039s cousin gave this to me this accordion is in perfect shape and works smoothly it039s the easiest one to play out of all my acoustics it doesn039t have much variety on sounds though roland fr-7 quotv-accordionquot-the best of the best the roland is fully electronic but still utilizes bellow movement i first saw this at an aaa convention 3 years ago and bugged my parents constantly about it a year later they bought it for me as a birthdaychristmas present for the next several years and i039ve played it everyday since then i play this at every gig ampamp show i go to and have easily gotten 300 in tips with it

in which hank attempts to define what life is argues that google is in fact alive albeit poorly and then proves that individual lives have no or extremely little value for their own sakewith mouthwash to be clear:1 i am not arguing that google should be treated like a sentient life form if google is alive it039s alive the same way a virus is the fact that it039s alive does not change its ethical status it is very interesting though2 while i don039t value the individual lives of the bacteria in my mouth i value quotlifequot tremendously and believe that one bacteria in a world otherwise devoid of life would be the most precious thing on that world but seeing as how there are trillions of bacteria within four feet of me right now i039m not particularly concerned with their welfare so quotlifequot is not a good qualification for quotvaluequot3 i have done some further research and it appears that the mrs gren thing is not so much criteria for life though they are often referenced as criteria for life it039s more like quotpropertiesquot of lifeas we know it i039m less interested in describing life than i am in determining what makes one thing alive and another thing not alive describing what we039ve got is easy deciding the status of something that may or may soon exist is an entirely different matter4 i039m very interested in people039s thoughts about about the quotwantquot theory though obviously this is a loose definition of quotwantquot does a plant really quotwantquot to turn toward the sunno what i039m saying is more quotreacts to it039s surroundings in order to fulfill its needsquot but quotlife wantsquot just sounds so much better the question of whether google or fire for that matter is reacting to its needs in order to fulfill its needs is an interesting one but i don039t really think that computer programs quotwantquot they don039t have needs they have instructionsbut how different is that from the instructions that bacteria have from their genesfinally google does satisfy schrodinger039s criteria of increasing order using available energy i think schrodinger039s criteria is in fact better than mine since you can039t argue that fire meets it as fire increases entropy and it makes me feel as if google is in fact alive however using this criteria one could also argue that an automated factor that turns plastic into toys is also alive as it would be using energy to decrease entropy if it is truly autonomous though that almost seems as alive as a virus to me
