the song is jump man by buckethead i don039t think i039ve ever published this on an actual aug 25th but this actually works out well there are so many things i have planned for the final installment subscribe for the completion of jump man set for the end of 2013 or so i haven039t done the math yet this is what i hope to be the first track in an ongoing series of photos and music set to my life i really started this just for me and posted it for friends and other human time lapsers to enjoy i039ve been lucky enough to have been picked up on many different websites across the globe and i thank you all for your views your comments and support i also want to thank all of my friends current and ones i no longer see who appear in some photos with me they were good times and i will always remember them i take at least one photo of myself every day tattoos occasional haircuts and my cross country trip are the only exceptions i put up the calendar as an easier way to keep track of the days without having to photoshop in dates later i don039t know why i039m bothering to write anything here anyway most people don039t read these then i get tons of comments asking quotdeeeeeerrrp what song is disquot c039mon seriously aaaaanyway youtube is telling me it will be another 46 minutes before this is finished uploading interesting fact: the quotjump manquot video file on my computer is 1526gb um5 is also my lucky number i was born on the 5th day of the 5th month yeah screw this i039m gonna go play skyrim while this is going thanks for watchingreading

predicting exactly where to stand to have the moon strike the top of the transamerica pyramid in san francisco each second of video translates into 2 minutes of time so the 5 seconds of video represents 10 minutes of moon movement using eclipse predictions lunar elevation angle and compass direction i used the height of the tower to predict how far away i039d need to stand and in what compass direction i mapped that point on google earth showed up a little early to start shooting 120 photos to created the timelapse sequence and it turned out that i pretty much nailed it the center of the moon passed right across the tip of the towerthis video has been featured on discover magazine039s astronomy blog:http:blogsdiscovermagazinecombadastronomy20111212lunar-eclipse-time-lapse

http:wwwmonologat - so basically i quit my job in austria and decided to go abroad for some months i started in new york in april 2014 and made my way to portland till october usually i travel with by bus train or plane cause i could afford a rental car for not more than a month but then i really would like to use it i did i drove from bouldercolorado to salt lake city and up north to yellowstone national park and montana and then car return in seattle about 3500 miles in 25 days and i stopped here and there and took some time lapses started out with the video function from my canon 5d mark 2 but i wasnt happy with the details compared to a raw photo also battery life and the 15minute recording limit was a real bummer so i took about 20000 photos about 500 or a16gb card per set with an intervalometer usually about every 6 seconds for about 90 minutes per set with the camera usually set to manual sometimes set to automatic time value for sunset or sunrises editin
