Bookmarked 629 weeks ago hi alli am a big eels fan if you don039t know much about them then check 039em out and recorded a tv programme last month called parallel worlds parallel lives a documentary about the eels lead singer mark everett039s aka e father who came up with the original theory of parallel universes hence the programme title and mark039s journey to find out more about his father039s theory and his father himself with whom he had a difficult relationshipit moved me to create a video to go with one of my favourite eels songs 039things the grandchildren should know039 where e talks of his father so i used the available footage from the documentary and edited it to fit this songi recorded the programme from bbc four so their logo is included in the footage there wasn039t a lot i could do about that but it isn039t too intrusive and when the documentary is repeated on bbc2 then i039ll edit the video without the logoi used a lot of footage of e walking symbolising his metaphorical journey to find out more about his father i hope that any son who has had a difficult relationship with his father will find something within the song and i hope too within the videoanyway i hope you enjoy it |
