https:coachinginstcomlife-san-diegohttps:coachinginstcomlifehttps:coachinginstcomlife-directoryhttps:coachinginstcomtop-lifei was recently in san diego visiting a friend who is seeing a life coach and she was telling me about her experience and how much it helped her while she was in school because she was suffering from add yes it is obviously great to catch studentspeople when they are doing well however from a personal point of view telling people over and over they are doing well when majority of the skill they are performing is really poor actually leads to a false sense of self confidence and this can ignite a major setback later in their life when they really do find out there not as good as what they were told which can cause huge problems such as depression i think we really need to just teach people to have a growth mindset and realize success and failure are not two separate identities but run parallel with one another and when truly appreciated there is value in all outcomes this will ensure people are grounded humble and have a grip on reality affirmation for kids are so important i cant even begin to stress it enough when i grew up i was diagnosed with add and i had big troubles in school and i cant even count how many times i039ve been told do this this way wrong bad not good enough it can be very difficult as a student suffering from these issues which is why my friend in san diego decided to find a life coach

https:coachinginstcomlife-chicagohttps:coachinginstcomlifehttps:coachinginstcomlife-companiesi have a friend of mine in chicago who recently became a life coach and she was telling me everything she had to do for her training she was also telling me all of the emotions she went through because it had brought up a lot of difficult times for her during her childhood years growing in to my late teens this had effected me so much i couldn039t take good feedback from critics from anyone i remember my boss telling me to do something in a different way that would make it easier for me i understand now when i039m older and wiser that this was helpful and made my work much easier but at the time i got extremely angry cursing him out later that day going to my training and going way to hard in sparring etc just because i was still upset this guy gave me feedback all because teachers always told me to do better or try harder when i was literally trying my hardest just not understanding the assignment like everyone else in the class did because i couldn039t focus properly now a few years later i039ve learned to be confident in myself and to control my emotions witch has lead me in to some great jobs and experiences teach adults and teachers how to talk to children correctly because it can effect there whole life when i was younger whenever i did something wrong my dad would call me a failure and a lot of other negative things it wasn039t that my dad didn039t love me it was that he always reminded me of the negative things i did and i would always feel that he forgot the positive to this day when i think about it it still affects me and how i perceive myself when i see myself as a failure it either drives me to be better or it can bring me down and make me feel hopeless self confidence is something i039m still working on and this talk definitely helped me remember that i am in control of my life and that if i don039t appreciate myself enough no one else will so my life coach friend in chicago decided to help me deal with these issues
