Bookmarked 558 weeks ago the video accompanying our siggraph 2015 paper quot a computational approach for obstruction-free photographyquot we present a unified computational approach for taking photos through reflecting or occluding elements such as windows and fences rather than capturing a single image we instruct the user to take a short image sequence while slightly moving the camera differences that often exist in the relative position of the background and the obstructing elements from the camera allow us to separate them based on their motions and to recover the desired background scene as if the visual obstructions were not there we show results on controlled experiments and many real and practical scenarios including shooting through reflections fences and raindrop-covered windows |

windows ten spying on every image you look at
Bookmarked 555 weeks ago every time you open an image in windows ten it informs microsoft creepy as hell and hard to believe but the packet capture proves iti thought at first this might be happening every time you launch a program which is perhaps marginally better so i launched some other programs too and didn039t observe any traffic it was only after making this video that i came up with another theory: it does make the suspicious encrypted connection upon launching calculator why does ms care how often i run calculator no idea but i think it might be something to do with both the image preview and calculator being new 039metro039 interface store apps it might be that ms simply wishes to be immediately informed every time you run any application that039s not much of an improvement on my earlier 039spy on your images039 theory |
