Bookmarked 435 weeks ago another mountain another day i could do that all day longmid range or long range - that039s the question for a 5-inch mini quad is more than 3 km away more long range than midrange orcan we reach 1000 subscribers by the end of 2018 yes we can help us spread the word https:googl4uomgylong range drone flying isn039t that easy because there are a lot of things you have to watch out for is it039s line of sight or not if you have enough battery capacity the antenna angle is right how deep you can fly and so on there are a lot of things you should watch out for so i039m going to make a howto videos about it soonas you can read in my parts list i use clearview for longrange flying important is to use reasonable antennas like the vas crosshair v3 from ibcrazy or comparative antennas from ibcrazy the included patch antennas from tbs are depending on the environment at 25km at the upper end of their range so beware the fpv image can be removed extremely quickly and easily |
