Bookmarked 591 weeks ago thank you for watching please subscribe to our channelplease like us on facebook: https:wwwfacebookcomxpodzfollow us on twitter: https:wwwtwittercomxpodzxpodz website: http:wwwxpodzcomxpodz is a revolutionary fitness system that combines yoga pilates strength training and cardio in one improved effective workout video transcripthi im kit rich im a celebrity pilates trainer and fitness trainer and i am partnering with rocket innovations the company that brings you xpodzthe reason i love xpodz so much is i feel and can see all potential and i just feel its really aligned with who i am as a trainer it is smart its sustainable and its simpleif you havent checked out the intro video make sure to go to xpodzcom where i break down the parts and the system for you but right now im about to show you how this can be incorporated into your yoga and pilates routine its amazingnot only are there so many opportunities to create new yoga and pilates exercises with the xpodz this is something that you can incorporate in your routine at class take it with youso youre familiar with the downward dog the difference though is when you use xpodz you are no longer feeling it the same way so normally in a downward dog you would be sinking into your shoulders your triceps would be turning out and you might not even be able to access the flexibility of the back of your legsbut with xpodz you can rotate turn the triceps in you can pull up in your shoulders and widen them and create all that space that youve been longing for with your downward dog and notice that my heels are really down you find that stretch because im lifted and notice i can really push away look at that im pushing im accessing what i need to with the downward dogfrom here lets go into the chaturanga and move forward into a plank position and right here already very different i am not sinking into my shoulders i can go down come through lift my chest up and right here i do not feel the pressure in my back because it lifts me up so much and then i can lift back up into my downward dog it really is unbelievable but this is just a standard exercise this is not even an xpodz yoga move so make sure to check out the video so that you can see all the possibilitiesthen when you pop the rocker on this is a regular xpodz that we just pop the rocker on you can then do another traditional yoga move with a little bit of a twist because now you have an unstable surface so bending your knees youre just going to lift your hips up and now youre opening up the shoulders but you have an unstable surface so the arms are activating way more and same thing im not sinking in my wrist it feels amazing i love ityou can even extend the legs straight and challenge yourself even more if you need to its awesome so after that let me show you going back to just the regular ones that we have with the rubber surface and then grab the foot sliders this is a pilates move called the snake twist this is something you would do on a pilates reformer but you dont need it you just dont need itso youre going to take both feet on to the slider and then cross one leg over the other dont be scared its a lot more fun than you think im going to lift my hips up into the sky and drop back down to open my chestso im working my abs here im obviously working my arms because im using them but im just feeling really safe and supported and its incredibly effective as a pilates instructor im feeling it exactly where i want to feel itthen lastly even for you teachers out there this is an incredible teaching tool so when youre doing the classical series of five in pilates normally its really hard to find the lift that youre looking for but you just place these babies these xpodz underneath your shoulders and now you have the lift with no pressure in the neckit really feels unbelievable so you can see i can access the core and the series of five i can do all the moves but i dont feel any pressure here im just getting it in my core so for those of you who are more beginners with pilates this is perfect for youbut like i said these are just traditional moves check out xpodzcom so you can see all of the different types of moves that weve created for you thank you so much for watching |
