Bookmarked 729 weeks ago while following on the coat tail of my first popular video quotqueen bohemian rhapsody old school computer remixquot i tried to change the venue and built a couple of robot bands yeah machines that play actual instruments these videos didn039t fair as well so i decided to go back to the basics and create another video utilizing old computer equipment for this video i recorded each instrument separately with a decent stereo mic and i also used a mixer to adjust the audio levels i would like to point out that absolutely no sampling or audio effects were used instrumentsa hp scanjet 3p adaptec scsi card and a computer powered by ubuntu v910 os as the vocals hey the scanner is oldb atari 800xl with an eico oscilloscope as the organc texas instrument ti-994a with a tektronix oscilloscope as the guitard hard-drive powered by a pic16f84a microcontroller as the bass drum and cymbal i was very pleased how the hard-drive drums turned out and they sound great i will definitely use them in my next video oh yeah my next video i would like to use a current song so please leave any recommendations 3oh3 is a big contender i would like to give a shoutout to james houston who i think was the first person to use multiple legacy computer equipment in conjunction to make a song be sure to take the time to view his youtube video quotbig ideas: don039t get any - radiohead cover by james houstonquotfor all the haters out there:1 the timing is not off take the time to listen to the actual song before criticizing2 no i don039t have a lot of spare time so i have to use it sparingly3 fair use on the internet not making any money here i wasn039t even born when this song came out but this is just one way of reviving an older song and introducing it to generation z:thanks for watchingbd594 |

Bookmarked 765 weeks ago the think city electric car test drive was very fun this is a small and affordable car that will be available for sale in the us in the next few months and we really look forward to itthe fully charged car goes as far as 100 miles and it039s a perfect weekday car to go to work and drive around the city the car was brought from michigan to california for a special event and we were lucky enough to drive it the think city electric vehicle looks small from the outside but is fairly large and tall on the inside i felt really safe driving it it039s a little noisy inside but nothing bad the maximum speed is around 70 miles per hour 112 km and they didn039t want to tell me how much it would cost but i have my guesses 10000 to 15000 since well it039s made out of plastic another benefit of the body is that it wouldn039t get scratched the car comes with a radio and has an option for a gps two things i definitely need other interesting facts are that the battery lasts 100000 miles or a minimum of ten years something other cars won039t live to see lastly the first maintenance check is at 40000 milesthink ev is a scandinavian company that calls themselves quotone of the most carbon efficient car companies in the worldquot i just took a look at their new think city design and i like it much better than this one we test drove i hope we039ll be able to see them take over the roads of major us cities and our very own garages what could be better than never going to a gas station never having to change the oil and never having to change the filter again i also discovered that this car has only five moving parts versus a conventional car that usually has hundreds of moving parts making it much harder to break and easier to find out a problem when it arises with gas prices skyrocketing will it ever end it makes me even more excited to drive cars such as think city of course it can039t be as fun as the tesla but it039s an amazing automobile check out our tesla test drive here: http:wwwecoboldcomblogs19-tesla-roadster-test-drive |
