Bookmarked 771 weeks ago lance armstrong and tyler hamilton had an awkward unexpected run-in at an aspen restaurant this weekend according to the outside blog it was the first time the former friends and teammates had seen each other since hamilton went on quot60 minutesquot and accused armstrong of doping during his celebrated cycling careerthis past saturday night hamilton went to dinner with friends at an italian french restaurant that also happens to be one of armstrong039s favorite aspen hangouts armstrong has a home here but hamilton thought the seven-time tour de france winner was out of town during dinner hamilton left his table to go to the bathroom as he walked out of the bathroom an arm blocked his path it was armstrong the two hadn039t spoken since hamilton039s 60 minutes appearancequothe wanted to get into itquot hamilton told me this morning quoti was like 039let039s step outside and talk away from the crowd but he wouldn039t he said 039no one cares039quot then according to hamilton armstrong began to berate himarmstrong039s version of the encounter is a bit more tame: quoti said 039hey what039s up039quot he says quotit was certainly awkward for both of us it was truly uneventfulquotthe blog reports that the owner of the restaurant a good friend of armstrong039s told hamilton he could finish his meal but wasn039t welcome back at the restaurant the cyclist said he was quotrattledquot by the incidentso to everyone now don039t you think we all deserve the totally above board honest story instead of the dribble we have gotten from the armstrong camp in light of the fact that every single one of the armstrong teammates has now admitted some form of doping was present in the entire ten years that they were all together and if mr hamilton literally gave his gold medal back from the olympics - it seems there must be at least something to this and every one in the majority can039t all be wrong and one person standing alone is right so lance fess up and give all the money back that was made in a sport in which everyone admits there has been doping |
