Bookmarked 778 weeks ago lead singer booked her work christmas party at the hideout which took place before the show started at 6pm 3 cover with drink specials extra money for the bands the usual 5 cover at the door went into effect at 8pm handled by an employee of the bar the party was over and most of them were gone shortly after the show started around 9pm no one from the bar took charge in collecting the 3 cover charge from the party goerssomeone don039t know who as i was not there yet from the party volunteered or was asked to do it 22 party goers 15 got wrist bands and drink specials but only 34 dollars was collected for the cover leaving a difference of 11 unaccounted for that would have been split between 4 bands that039s less than 4 that each band didn039t receive so this was all over the loss of 11 the money that the bands didn039t receive has been taken care of btw and all bands donated their cash to the salvation armyco-owner dave at the end of the night before our last song came up on stage visibly intoxicated and made verbal attacks at julie and rude remarks towards her and doomsday overdrivethe other co-owner steve had gotten married that day dave was at the wedding most likely had some drinks and continued to drink after he got there to work at the bar at 6:30 until he got drunk enough to come up and run his mouth onstage at about 1:15am there were also numerous people who witnessed him serving drinks to customers while drinking himselfhe messaged the following apology to our guitar player via facebook -dave december 19 at 6:10pm reportyesterday was not one of my good days no excuses i was a drunk idiot last night my bad for getting on stage and making an ass of myself i am truely sorry to your entire band for my actions last nighthe also posted an apology on the do facebook page but never posted any such public apology on his or the bar039s pagethese apologies came only after this video was posted apology or not drunk or not this is no way to treat people or solve a problem you wait until after the show to resolve the money issue which is how it039s always done not do it onstage in front of the other bands and customers in such a rude and embarrassing way we were not trying to steal money from our friendsother bands and would have made up for the shortage at the end of the nightdave never should have been running his business while intoxicated this night and should not have been drinking on the jobhttp:wwwfacebookcomdoomsdayoverdrivehttp:wwwreverbnationcomdoomsdayoverdriveomaha |
