After competing in dragon boat race in a little village in the district of Panyu, Guangzhou, I needed a shower. The only place available for me to clean up was in the City Hall Toilets! It was a unique way to learn that the soap next to the sink is for cleaning the porcelain and not the hands, that the shower head can simply be just a rubber tube and that you can control the pressure manually… This is China, and we LOVE it like that!
